The MSc in Facial Aesthetics & Cosmetology program at Kriva Institute is a comprehensive 2-year course designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in facial aesthetics and cosmetology. The program is open to candidates with degrees in MBBS, MD, MS, BDS, MDS, BAMS, and BHMS.
Goals
The primary goal of the program is to produce competent professionals in facial aesthetics who can:

Anatomy of maxilla, mandible, and related structures.
Maxillary sinus, temporomandibular joint, mastication, occlusion, and scalp.
Body anatomy and skin.
Concept of stem cells, lasers, scar removal, and nutrition.
Skin/Facial Tissue in Health and Disease
Defense mechanisms of the body.
Biomaterials and instrumentation.
Sterilization and asepsis, surgical room setup, preoperative procedures, and premedication.
Augmentation
Botox serotypes, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and trichology (hair transplant, PRP/GFC, biofibers).
Stem Cells
Clinical Aspects
Examination of facial structures, hygiene status, and skin analysis.
Diagnosis and treatment planning, including indications and contraindications.
Surgical Aspects
Regenerative Therapy and Future Considerations
Practicals
Education and training in various procedures, including in-vitro/in-vivo procedures, fillers, Botox, threads, PRP placement, and lab techniques.
Clinicals involving patient evaluation, diagnostic imaging, sterilization, and mock preparations.
